Mike Guthrie has over 25 years of experience managing organizations in both public and private settings. He worked for the Colorado Department of Human Services, in both mental health and juvenile corrections facilities. Following that, he has worked in the nonprofit mental health field, including as Executive Director of Beacon Center, a nonprofit agency that provided mental health services to children and families in Colorado. He is a trained and certified mediator and facilitator. He currently is Deputy Director of the Carson J Spencer Foundation, working in suicide prevention. He also is the owner of Guthrie Consulting LLC, working with nonprofits, especially in the mental health field, as well as providing facilitation and dispute resolution
